Goal

For this project, the goal was to create an app to help working young adults (25-35 years old) become more active. Research, including interviews, revealed that many people in this age group are already quite active but don’t always maintain a healthy lifestyle.
This led to the development of a habit tracker app. The app allows users to set personal goals and track their progress by marking them as completed. This approach helps users build healthier habits while providing a sense of accomplishment and motivation to continue.
A habit tracker to get young adults to be more active
By using a streak system, users are motivated to stay consistent with their goals. This feature encourages users to keep going each day, while positive and encouraging notifications provide additional support and motivation. As users continue to progress, after a few weeks, they will start receiving gentle reminders to set new goals. This helps them stay on track and challenges them to further improve their habits, leading to a healthier lifestyle overall.
